More Hills

 Day 33

Today was another ride across southern Missori, up and down, up and down.   Got chased by dogs several times, diffused the situation by stopping and talking to them.  Noted as I headed towards the town of Houston, I had entered Texas county.  Somewhere along the way, I think just past the town of Hartsel,   I went past a place that had the strong smell of sausage.  I guess it was a meat processing plant.   Another time I was stopped at a road crossing having a quick snack, when a guy went by, then turned around to make sure I was OK.  Some folks are real nice.  

 Shortly after leaving Marshfield, I caught up with another rider who is on the Transcontinental Trail.  I had met him earlier when riding through the eastern part of Kansas.  His name is Ted, from Red Lodge Montana.  He is also a "senior" rider, but riding with full packs and mostly staying in motels.  

The RV park was just north of Houston,  so I ended up with a little extra mileage there.
